Nice to meet you!

Allow me to introduce myself…

My name is Maggie Richardson and I’m a DC native (30th Street, to be exact), adopted Vermonter, and writer at heart. I’ve been working in marketing, social media, and communications since graduating the University of Vermont in 2018. There, I earned a dual degree in English and Environmental Studies, tying together my passions for writing and the planet.

In my communications career, I’ve worked at small non-profits like the Vermont Brewers Association, Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility, and Phoenix Bikes as well as large institutions like the University of Vermont. I also have e-commerce marketing experience having worked at ski brand Turtle Fur and spearheading my own upcycled clothing business, Concrete Cowboys. I’ve managed fundraising campaigns, launched brands, built websites, and created countless social media posts.

After relocating back to Vermont, I was inspired to start my own communications consulting business. Identifying a need for affordable communications services and prioritizing hyper-personalized strategy, I began working with my first client, the Vermont Futures Project, in 2021.

While working with clients, my goal is to clearly outline the benefits of investing in a strong communications strategy, closely connect that strategy with their mission, and show them in real time how their growing digital presence helps their business, brand, or non-profit’s mission. With a robust social media presence, great website, and branded marketing materials, I believe any business or organization can find the right audience.
